Hi, I’m Amaya.

  • Neurodivergent (AuDHD)

  • Queer

  • In a mixed neurotype relationship

  • Dog parent

My Approach

In our sessions, intersectionality is not merely a concept, but a foundational element of our work. Together, we will explore these layers with a thoughtful and compassionate approach, ensuring that your unique story is both honored and understood. In my practice, I focus on helping my clients embrace and work with their brains rather than feeling at odds with them. I approach therapy from a relational perspective, meaning I value the importance of building a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect. I enjoy blending mindfulness based practices like DBT, with creativity and humor to create a therapeutic space that works for you. Whether you are looking to work on anxiety, better understand your neurotype or explore different aspects of your identity, I would be honored to be part of your journey!

Therapy with me is:

  • Affirming

  • Relational

  • Real

  • Tailored to you and your brain
