My Approach

My goal as a therapist is to make therapy a safe and affirming place for you to be yourself. My approach is relational, meaning I focus on building a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients in order to support them in their growth. I don’t believe in a one size fits all model for therapy and like to tailor my approach based on the person I am working with. That being said, a lot of my work is Dialectical Behavioral Therapy based, with a sprinkling of Narrative, Acceptance and Commitment therapy and some humor. I also believe that intersectionality is important to address, especially when we are talking about things that have to do with our identity. I am committed to Racial, 2SLGBTQIA+, Neurodivergent and Disability Justice both in and out of the therapy space, because I believe that mental health does not exist in a vacuum and that things like systemic racism and systemic oppression are incredibly intertwined with our wellbeing. If any of this resonates with you, I hope we can connect and I would be honored to be part of your journey.

Therapy with me is:

  • Affirming

  • Relational

  • Real

  • Tailored to you and your brain
